Jill Kavalauskas began her volleyball journey at age 12, competing on a top club team in Chicago and serving as team captain along the way. Throughout her club experience, she earned an AAU All- American award when her team won Bronze in the Gold bracket at AAU Nationals in 2018. A four-year, six-rotation Varsity starter at Jones College Prep, she earned numerous honors, including MVP and Female Athlete of the Year.

Jill continued her playing career at the collegiate level, beginning at Division I SIU-Carbondale before transferring to St. Ambrose University, where she became a multi-time NAIA All-American Honorable Mention, First-Team All-Region Select, First-Team All-Conference Select, National Attacker of the Week, and Conference Player of the Week numerous times.

Her coaching career began in 2019 and has included coaching top-level club teams at LOVB partnered club Platform Elite, summer coaching at Jones College Prep, and serving as a graduate assistant coach with the St. Ambrose University men’s volleyball program. While working with the men’s team, she evaluated player skills while also serving as a recruiter and scout, further strengthening her ability to identify and develop talent. When returning back to Chicago, she also served as the volleyball coordinator at The Frances Xavier Warde School, where she oversaw the development of more than 10 youth teams and planned practices across all levels. These experiences have made her a well-rounded coach with expertise spanning youth development, high school top club programs, and recruiting, allowing her to lead and support athletes at every stage of their volleyball journey.

Jill joined 606 Volleyball in 2024 and quickly grew into a leadership role. In 2025, she became Club Director, overseeing multiple teams and helping build a strong culture focused on athlete development through consistency and confidence, accountability, and passion for the game. With deep roots in Chicago volleyball and experience as both a high-level player and coach, Jill is committed to helping athletes grow both on and off the court.
